We have some exciting news to share - Koalaa is officially working with a real-life superhero in Switzerland!
Bionicman is on a mission to empower children with limb difference to reach their full potential and to see that difference can actually be a superpower. Children who meet him are encouraged to see that every person is special and that a supposed weakness can become a personal strength.
Born with a limb difference, Bionicman takes time out from his daring adventures to visit schools, hospitals and sports camps, where he spreads his positive message. At the same time helping to raise awareness, tackle bullying and promoting confidence and self-esteem, by inspiring every young person that he meets.
When he’s not busy carrying out his Bionicman duties, alter ego and creator, Michel Fornasier, is raising funds for his charity, Give CHILDREN A Hand.
Founded in 2019, the charity provides children who would like one with access to a free prosthesis. Which is where Koalaa comes in!
We are going to be providing Koalaa soft prosthetics to children who are being supported by the charity. It’s something that we’re super excited about and we cannot wait to share more details with you, as the partnership progresses.
