Designed by Nate and inspired by Alex!
Nate met quadruple amputee, Alex Lewis, during his final year of his mechanical engineering degree. He heard Alex’s frustration with the world of prosthetics and working closely with his feedback, the revolutionary soft Koalaa prosthetic was born. Alex’s input combined with the sleeve’s unique ‘X’ pattern of support gripping snugly around the elbow is reflected in the name ALX: A*lex L*ewis X* support.
